When I started 28 years ago, it was a business of 'funny old men'! Not funny Ha ha, but funny odd. When I went to the first conference it was mostly men and they were fat, smokers, watch swingers (I don't really know that, it just felt like they were in the dark ages) and did not use their skills wisely. That was a long time ago. And it is a big generalization on my part.
There were a few brilliant people who shared their wisdom generously.
Now, things are very different. 28 years later my profession has resulted in some brilliant people transforming the profession, sharing their wisdom, helping those who are new and being part of a powerful community.
I often see new practitioners reach out on FB for help with a client. We all were new at one time and the variety of issues that we are presented with is daunting. We all need some creative input, training and solutions.
It is not really adequate to post your issue on FB for your client and hope you get the training you need in a paragraph.
My mission here is to help you learn, for your own needs and for your clients.
I hope that I inspire you, entertain you and give you new skills so you can become an excellent hypnotherapist, or even change your very own life.

Hypnotherapists- Are you using aversion therapy on your clients? STOP IMMEDIATELY. That is not a healthy way to make a person a non-smoker for life. Are you using the wrong words, images, mind state? Easy to say, but harder to do.
Even if you are practicing self-love you are probably still judging yourself.
Those statements you make under your breath, the silent but damaging words you use when you make a mistake and even the bold statements that come out of your mouth out loud when you put yourself down.
To love ourselves takes some deep introspection. We want others to be kind. But do we hold ourselves up to that standard, to be kind to ourselves?
